This Platform operates in coordination with disaster management and volunteer registration initiatives aligned with the Government of India's Disaster Management Authority.

By accessing or using the Platform, you ("the User") accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must refrain from using the Platform.

1. Purpose of the Platform

Petrotex is designed to facilitate the collection, organization, and communication of volunteer and organizational information for the purpose of aiding disaster management, emergency response, and related governmental support initiatives. The Platform enables:

  • Volunteer registration
  • Organization onboarding
  • Public inquiries and contact management
  • Membership applications

All services are in line with public interest, humanitarian aid, and coordination with government agencies in times of disaster and emergency.

2. Eligibility

By using this Platform, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or are authorized by a parent/guardian.
  • You are submitting information in good faith and for the intended purpose of disaster relief, volunteerism, or coordination support.
  • You are not misrepresenting your identity, organization, or intent.

3. Information Collection and Use

We collect and process personal data submitted voluntarily through the following pages:

A. Join Our Organisation

Collected Data: Name, organization name, contact details, nature of services

Purpose: To evaluate and onboard organizations interested in collaborating with disaster relief efforts.

B. Contact Page

Collected Data: Name, email, message content

Purpose: To respond to public inquiries or feedback.

C. Become a Member

Collected Data: Name, contact number, skills, qualifications

Purpose: To assess individual volunteer applications for registration and participation.

We adhere to the principles of data minimization, purpose limitation, and lawful processing, as per the Information Technology Act, 2000 and, where applicable, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

4. Data Security and Storage

All personal information is handled with reasonable security practices in accordance with Indian cyber law regulations. Information is stored securely and is accessible only by authorized personnel or agencies directly involved in disaster management activities. We do not sell, lease, or disclose your data to unauthorized third parties.

5. Government Affiliation and Compliance

Petrotex operates in support of and coordination with Government of India disaster management agencies, but it is not a statutory authority unless otherwise notified. All data shared may be transmitted to verified governmental agencies or affiliated NGOs for legitimate disaster management operations.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, graphics, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property on this website are owned or licensed by Petrotex and are protected under applicable copyright laws of India. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petrotex shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use of, or inability to use, this Platform, including but not limited to reliance on any information obtained from the website.

8. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform at our discretion, including if any false, misleading, or unauthorized data is submitted or if use of the Platform is deemed harmful to public interest or national security.
