DCTIAH-KB-INDIA advocates for the pivotal role of ham radio in disaster communication and emergency response. The club emphasizes increasing membership, attendance, and the acquisition of licenses. It actively collaborates with communities, government departments, agencies, and experts in safety, health, environment, and disaster management to build a robust disaster preparedness community. Founded by Chairman Er. Karthik Babu under the call sign VU2TPW, DCTIAH-KB-INDIA is a non-profit organization driven by volunteering efforts in the national interest. While supporting the Prime Minister’s 10-Point Agenda on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), the organization offers training and disaster management services, which are funded through donations from members and external sources. These resources are vital to supporting government departments and private corporations, as well as empowering at-risk communities across India.
